Reader's Journal
While reading Night I became, in a way, attached to Elie and his story. Night was written in a way that made it very intense. Along with his story being thrilling and suspenseful it was inspiring. Elie's story was inspiring because in his story Elie fights through the extreme conditions of Auschwitz and Buchenwald. Although Elie struggled with his faith during his story he regained his faith in god when he was freed. Elie's battle with faith means a lot to me because it shows that even when your having a awful period of life you can make it through. Night depicts an awful event from such a unique perspective, it really leads me to ask "how could a human treat another human like this?". I really enjoyed reading this book especially because of the history in Elie's book. Elie Wiesel has written many other books, after reading Night I want to read his other books.
